Lie: Mahatma Gandhi had a controversial relationship with the women in his life

It is horrendous to listen such accusations being levelled against the Father of the Nation.

Mahatma Gandhi ji took a vow of celibacy at the age of 36.

Interestingly, it was Gandhi ji himself who revealed everything about himself in his autobiography “My Experiments with Truth”.

He life was a like an open book and this is what people took advantage of.

Linking our Father of the Nation with women, does not actually malign Gandhi ji’s image, but only exposes the extreme moral wickedness some have in the present times.

At a time, when there were few active women in public life in the UK, US, France of Germany, India, in contrast, had women governors of states, women cabinet ministers, women vice-chancellors, women ambassadors in the first few years of Independence.

Women like Sarojini Naidu, Vijayalakshmi Pandit, Anusaya, Mridula Sarabhai, Hansa Mehta and many others who contributed substantially towards the freedom movement and nation building, were inspired by Gandhi ji.

Have we stooped to a level so low that we are trying to defame that man who devoted his entire life to free India from the chains of the Britishers?
