It is not unknown now that the BJP has a fake news problem. When it comes to BJP, the party is beyond caring about truth and authenticity in its messaging.
A similar thing happened when BJP MP and actor Paresh Rawal, who is always trying to take a jibe at his party’s ideological enemies, tweeted a picture having a quote in Hindi by former president APJ Abdul Kalam.
The quote said that Kalam had been approached by Pakistan to work for them, but he refused it because he was a patriot. The picture was captioned as, “Strictly for pseudo-liberal.” However, we are unable to find any connection between what Kalam allegedly said and psedo-liberalism.
Thereafter, the twitterati, who of course, are not unwise as the one who posted this, trolled Paresh Rawal and advised him to double-check any information before sharing it.
It is saddening to see such fake news being shared about such an iconic person as Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Well, anything like this cannot malign the respect for him and the place he made in every Indian’s heart.
